The Rebel family celebrated our senior volleyball players, football players, cheerleaders, and Rebelettes last week. These seniors have shown great leadership on our campus and given of their talents to our school. We would like to thank them for their dedication and express to the parents how much we appreciate them for their support.
Volleyball
Mary Beth Bailey has played volleyball at BA for 6 years. She is also part of the basketball and track teams, SGA, Ambassadors, and a member of Beta Club.
Kirstin Ely has played volleyball at BA for 6 years. In addition to serving as Volleyball captain, she is also SGA president, part of the Beta Club, an Ambassador, and has been on the basketball team.
Alexis Oliver has played volleyball at BA for 4 years. She is Senior Beta Club President, Rebelettes captain, runs track, and is an Ambassador.
Shannon Poole has played volleyball at BA for 5 years, as well as been on the softball team.
Cheerleaders
Aubrey Bowman is cheer captain and has been cheering for 7 years. She is also a member of the Beta Club.
Josie Smith is cheer captain and has cheered at Bessemer Academy for 7 years. She is a member of the Beta Club and a BA Ambassador.
Rebelettes
Alexis Oliver is Rebelette captain and has been on the dance team for 8 years. Additionally, she has played volleyball and run track. She is president of the senior Beta Club and a BA Ambassador.
Football
Jacquez Bilbrew has played football 10 years, in addition to participating in track and field.
Klaeton Colburn has played football at Bessemer Academy for 4 years and golf for 3 years.
Donovan Hill has been playing football at Bessemer Academy for 10 years.
Judson Hogeland has played football for 9 years and was part of the 2015 and 2016 state championship teams. Additionally, Judson runs track, is Senior Beta Club Chaplain, and is a state science fair champion.
Howard Hudson has played football at Bessemer Academy for 2 years and participated with track and field.
Josh McFarland has played football for 11 years at Bessemer Academy.
Devon McGhee played football 5 years and basketball 6 years.
Devin McKinney has played football for 4 years at Bessemer Academy.
Josh McMillon has played football for 9 years. He also plays basketball and runs track. Josh was part of the 2019 AISA state champion basketball team, and the 2019 AISA state men’s track runners-up.
Zac Price has played football for 6 years.
Jackson Stewart has played football for 5 years and participated in track for 2 years. He is also a member of the Beta Club, a BA Ambassador, and a member of the Math Team.
Hunter Todd has been playing football since he was eight years old.
