On Saturday, January 27th, girls took the stage at the Bessemer Civic Center to compete in the 2024 Miss Bessemer Academy Beauty Pageant.
We want to congratulate Senior Camryn Moore on winning the title of Miss Bessemer Academy. We would also like to extend congratulations to 1st Alternate- Sophie Jones, 2nd Alternate- Cameron Booth, 3rd Alternate- Anna Sanders, Miss Photogenic- Harleigh Payne, and Miss Congeniality- Cate Snider
In our Junior Miss category, we want to give a special shout out to sixth grader Violet Juzikis on winning Junior Miss Bessemer Academy. Other winners include 1st Alternate- Samantha Smith, 2nd Alternate- Kamryn Barnhill, 3rd Alternate and Miss Photogenic- Jaxi Waldon, and Miss Congeniality- Anna Claire Smith.
The Little Miss category included girls in grades 4th and 5th grades. Arden Clements took home the crown as well as Miss Photogenic and Hope Manning won 1st Alternate and Miss Congeniality.
Winning the crown for the Mini Miss Bessemer Academy was Ivy Rose Bice, 1st Alternate- Catherine Edmonds, 2nd Alternate- Mary Ella Tucker, 3rd Alternate- Ava Chaney, Miss Photogenic- Lala Dawson, and Miss Congeniality- Tenley White.
Our Tiny Miss Bessemer Academy saw our youngest contestants walk the stage. Maddie Smith took the title with 1st Alternate and Miss Photogenic- Annie Salter, 2nd Alternate and Miss Congeniality- Macey Bradley, and 3rd Alternate- Erin Edmonds. Congratulations to each winner and to each young lady who walked the stage Saturday night.
