The All-State Academic Team is chosen from senior students based on their GPA and ACT scores. The AISA honors the top 25 students in the state. Bessemer Academy is proud to have two students named to the All-State Team.
The Student Athlete Awards are also chosen by the AISA. It is awarded to students who compete in multiple sports during their high school career, while also pursuing advanced courses and maintaining a high GPA. Bessemer Academy had four student athletes chosen this year: Kirstin Ely and Alexis Oliver, Jackson Stewart and Garrett Mangione.
