The girls were all smiles as Coach Joel Penfield presented each player with a memento as their parents stood by their sides. At the home game against Pickens Academy, the following senior girls were honored: Whitney Edgecomb, Rebekah Kitchens, Jenny Weekley, Hannah Fitch, and Anna Bedford. They went on to beat Pickens in straight sets! Way to go, Lady Rebels!   The photo gallery can be seen HERE.

After a 4+ hour drive to Albany, GA, the Rebels shut out the Deerfield-Windsor Knights 34-0. While shaking hands with the Knights, the Rebels were told, “It was nice having you here. Don’t come back.” Click here for photos We’re on the road again next week at Autauga Academy in Prattville, AL.

Thank you to Mrs. Morrow and all the SGA members who worked so hard to make this year’s homecoming week so much fun! The cheer squads presented their new routines with some crazy good pyramids. Wow those stunts! You girls rock! Just when we think the dance team can’t get any better than they already are, they prove us wrong. And happy birthday captain Kiley Turk! Our pep rally today included the annual juniors v seniors tug of war. Seniors won! The games included some head-to-head hula hoop action. Many of our teachers were asked to show a little of their hidden talents. Mr. White played the trumpet, Mrs. Hott sang the beginning of the alma mater, Ms. English did the hula, and Mr. Hooper amazed us with his standing back tuck! Thursday, September 15, 2016 the homecoming week tradition continued after school with a powder puff game followed by a luau and bonfire.  The senior/sophomore team stomped the junior/freshmen team 24-0.
